Masala Chai

Serves     6 cups


1 ¼ cups of water

1 cup milk

3 tsp. chai tea

3 ½ T. of sugar (or to your own taste)

1 tsp. grated fresh ginger

1 pinch fresh ground black pepper

1 pinch cinnamon powder

2-3 cloves

  • Boil the water
  • Add the grated ginger, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves
  • Add tea and sugar to taste
  • When the water is chocolate brown, add milk
  • Boil it for 2 minutes
  • When it is done filter it and serve it steaming hot
