Jeera Aloo/Cumin Potatoes


4 large potatoes, cut into 1 “ pieces and boiled

4 T Oil

1 tsp. cumin seeds

Salt to taste

1 T Coriander seeds, crushed

1 tsp. roasted coriander powder

½ tsp. Dry mango powder (Amchur)

2 T Fresh coriander leaves


Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté till it changes colour. Add salt and stir. Add red chili powder, crushed coriander seeds, roasted cumin powder and dry mango powder. Add potato cubes and stir carefully till the masala covers all the potato cubes well. Add coriander leaves and stir. Serve hot.
