Quilt Divas and the Ithaca, NY Chapter Collaborate on "Women Empowering Women" Art Piece

We are very excited to introduce to you the work of the Quilt Divas who have collaborated with the Ithaca, NY, chapter of Dining For Women, to produce a dynamic work of fiber art.

This creative group of artists has transformed the DFW core belief of “empowering women” into a nine-panel piece of art, “Women Empowering Women.”

The Divas chose to create a multi-panel quilt with its panels depicting organizations supported by DFW.  Each Diva researched her "favorite project" and used her talent and expertise with her panel to convey what she had learned about women in Mali, Kenya, Uganda, Thailand , Peru and more. (For more information about the women who worked on this quilt please go to their website) You may download DFW's new "Women Empowering Women" art quilt brochure HERE.

The fabric art piece creates a wall hanging 96" wide and 44" high and depicts eight organizations in Africa, Asia and South America, as well as one panel representing DFW.

For anyone that would like to have this wonderful piece of art we are selling ONLY 200 tickets for a drawing at $50 per a ticket.
