Here is a great synopsis of the wonderful weekend. Click to read all about it.
These inspiring three days demonstrated how we can become catalysts through

DFW, living our passions and fulfilling our dreams of creating monumental global change for women. It was amazing to connect with DFW members, chapter leaders and some of our NGO program leaders to hear first-hand accounts of our impact in the world and actively participate in shaping the future of Dining for Women.
Gayle Tzemach Lemmon, author of the New York best seller, The Dressmaker of Khair Khana, was our keynote speaker, and spoke to our hearts.
We also heard reports from the executive directors of: Darfur Peace & Development Organization, Lotus Outreach and PINCC. What great work is being done!
Holly Mosher spoke about her film, Bonsai, which explores Nobel Prize winner Dr. Muhammad Yunus' vision. After, we experienced her vision first hand as we watched the fantastic story.
So much more happened than can be related on this page! Check out our blogs for a flavor of this amazing experience.

Late last night, walking back to my room, I encountered the hotel security guard. He inquired if I was from the "women's group," and asked if we were finished in the ballroom. "I want to lock up," he said.
"We had a book signing, but I think they're probably finished," I replied.
As he was walking away, he turned back to me and said, "By the way, when I heard about your group, I thought you just got together to party. But when I learned about what you do, I was very impressed. You're doing really good work."
