DFW Committee Descriptions – Summary
Chapter and Membership Development – analyze current DFW chapter and membership statistics and life cycles; develop and implement strategies for growth, diversity and retention.
Fundraising – develop fundraising opportunities to meet DFW administrative expenses through DFW Annual Appeal, national fundraising events, corporate sponsorships and grants.
Leadership Plan – develop and implement a volunteer management infrastructure for DFW, and recruit volunteers to fill those positions.
Summit – organize, plan and implement a yearly Summit meeting for all DFW members.
Communications – develop, provide support and coordinate promotional, marketing and PR efforts; using broadcast, print, social media and creativity to tell an international audience about Dining for Women.
Program Content – researching and writing educational materials, and developing new and innovative ways to present monthly programming to DFW members. Details are available here.
Program Selection Committee – evaluate and select grantee recipients for future DFW featured monthly programs.
Website – maintain and update website to reflect current DFW goals, programs, and provide timely information to DFW members & leaders.
Training Committee – develop and implement online Chapter Leader and Leadership training programs for DFW.
Travel Program – help coordinate and organization yearly international educational travel programs for DFW members.
